Incorporated in 1913, Homestead is the second oldest city in Miami-Dade County, located south of Miami between Biscayne National Park and Everglades National Park. Homestead is a lovely town with plenty of green spaces and gets its name from a path that was the only way to reach the area in the early 20th Century, the “Homesteaders Trail”.
